ITIL 4 Training Courses

ITIL 4 Foundation Certification Training

Provides IT leaders, practitioners, support staff and staff interfacing with the organization’s digital and information systems functions with a practical understanding of the key concepts, common language, principles and practices that enables successful management of modern IT-enabled services. It also prepares attendees for the ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate Examination. The course is based on the ITIL 4 best practice Service Value System featured in the latest 2019 guidelines.

ITIL 4 Intermediate Level Certification Training

ITIL 4 Intermediate Level certification training is composed of two learning paths: 1) the Managing Professional path, and the 2) the Strategic Leader path.  The Managing Professional path if targeted toward “practitioners” – those on the front lines, delivering and support live operational IT and business services.  The Strategic Leader path is target at manger, director and leaders of IT and business service organizations – equipping them with knowledge and skills to devise, deliver and carry on a successful strategy for long-term success.

The Managing Professional path consists of:

  • IT Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support (CDS)
  • IT Specialist: Drive Stakeholder Value (DSV)
  • IT Specialist: Hi-velocity IT
  • ITIL Strategist: Direct, Plan and Improve (DPI)

The Strategic Leader path consists of:

  • ITIL Leader: Digital & IT Strategy

A comprehensive workshop on Service Desk function and Incident Management processes as discussed within ITIL®. In this Define and Implement Service Desk and Incident Management Workshop course, participants gain comprehensive knowledge of the Service Desk function and Incident Management process as discussed within ITIL®. Through lectures and practice exam questions participants explore the concepts of good practice in IT Service Management based on the ITIL® framework. Note: This is a Global Knowledge course #7800.

ITIL V3 Intermediate Level Training

ITIL Intermediate Level Courses are taught by ITIL Expert Paul M. Dooley. The ITIL Intermediate Level offers two principle streams of education; Lifecycle and Capability – each with their own series of certifications – and a final rationalization module, Managing Across the Lifecycle. Each of the Intermediate certifications provides candidates with the knowledge, skills and competencies required to apply or manage the application of specific areas of ITIL Best Practice, in a Service Management environment.

Pricing

Please see our course description pages for pricing information.  Most courses are priced based on a daily rate, plus expenses – although you may request a special quote to meet your exact needs by emailing servcie@optimalconnections.com.

Cancellation Policy

In rare instances, a course may be rescheduled or postponed. We will endeavor to provide at least 10 days notice of any such events, and either reschedule your student for a future class, or refund the amount of the class – as you desire. We will not be held responsible for penalties associated with rescheduling air travel, hotel, or other travel expenses.

Due to the fact that we must order materials well in advance of classes, those students canceling their reservation in the class with less than 10 days notice are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Participants who do not show up for their course are still expected to pay the full course fee.

Payment Terms

Payment for HDI courses are made directly to HDI by registering through their web site. Payment for local Optimal Connections courses must be made 2 weeks in advance of the course. Payments may be made with your credit card on-line via PayPal, or you may request that we invoice you.

We process your credit card payments through PayPal’s secure payment processing web site. Although you do not need to be a member of PayPal to pay with your credit card, PayPal is now one of the largest credit card processing clearing systems, with over 84 million members world wide, PayPal is the way payments are made today.
